MARSMAIL AND MYSTX are distributed using a "self extracting" execute program to install on Microsoft Windows based systems.
Mystx is a public key coder/decoder file utility built for encrypted communications and file transfers. Mystx allows you to exchange keys via public (unsecure channels) and then communicate using advanced secure, public key, encryption. Mystx provides no communication software. It converts existing files on your system into encrypted hex text files that can be easily transferred via a number of means (e.g... email, download, print, diskette).
Marsmail is a fully functional POP-3 emailer. Marsmail with encryption uses Mystx with the Diffie-Hellman based public key and/or the Pcypher private file encryption. Marsmail decodes messages directly in memory so secure mail remains in the coded form on your disk. Marsmail allows you to encrypt attached binary files with your email to send any type and length of data.
The TO option of Marsmail is a true send option that can read entire files of email addresses and send the email directly to each address one at a time. Thus, you can use Marsmail to maintain large email newsletters and mailing lists. Use the Pcypher private key option to attach common encrypted data files to mass mailings. Thus, you can engage in mass secure communications.
Send the Mystx public keys using the Marsmail attach file option to people you want to have secure email with. They will send you their keys. Log in the keys using Mystx Add Public key option. Message decoding is automatic - no key selection needed. Sending a message is as easy as picking the keys from each person you logged in. Mystx uses both Diffie-Hellman and a session key system which ensures each transmission is encrypted at levels exceeding any standard - commercial, government or military.
Marsmail can be mixed with open (unsecure) data. Thus you can encrypt a secret message and then enter an open message before/after the Marsmail encrypted message. Marsmail will decode the encypted message and display it.
The Mystx install file is about 2.7 meg and called mystx.exe
Mystx usually installs in the \mystx directory.

The Marsmail install file is only about 1 meg and called marsmail.exe
Marsmail installs in the \marsmail directory.

Shared Public Master Key Exchange

MYSTX uses 3 files to work with others who also are equipped with Mystx. Two of these files must be shared, a master prime index and a public key. You can share these with any number of people or publish them.
.1 Prime Master - an index of master numbers It can be shared with any number of people.
.2 Private Key - Your secret key file. DO NOT SHARE this key with any unauthorized individual.
.3 Public Key - Your public (shared) key. It can be shared with any number of people but I always reccommend you change keys often.
